The debate about Jair Bolsonaro mobilized 1,368,500 publications on Twitter between 7 pm on Tuesday (28) and 7 am on Wednesday (29), propelled by the interviews carried out by Jornal Nacional and by Globonews with the presidential candidate. A peak of 144,500 mentions (14.4 thousand per minute) was registered between 9 pm and 9:10 pm. The total volume was higher than that registered during the debate at Band on August 9, when discussions about Bolsonaro reached 817.6 thousand mentions, also in 12 hours of analysis, with a peak of 4.9 thousand tweets per minute. In turn, the repercussion of the previous question-and-answer session hosted by Globonews with the candidate on August 3 generated a peak of 3.5 thousand mentions per minute on the 4^th.

With yesterday’s interviews, we also observed an increase in the engagement on posts from Jair Bolsonaro’s official Facebook page. On Monday (27), there were 112,002 likes, reactions, comments and shares, while on Tuesday (28), there were 1,077,913 interactions – the highest daily engagement on the candidate’s page at least since January 1^st, 2017, and the first day with a volume of interactions over one million.
